Physiotherapy at Home
Home visits are an integral part of our holistic, family-centred care. Our aim during home visits is to:
- Provide accessible care - our physios come to you (i.e. home, park, community centre)
- Translate gross motor skills from in clinic into your kid's everyday life
- Advise on equipment and environment modification.
Excel at Kinder & School
It is essential your child is adequately supported from kindergarten to high school as this is where lots of your child's physical, social and cognitive development occurs. The role of physiotherapy in schools is to:
- Assess what supports your kid needs
- Advocate for appropriate environment modification, manual handling, transfers, equipment, therapeutic exercise, physical education class advice, safety and more
- Provide goal-oriented interventions to help your kid excel in all aspects of the curriculum
- Collaborate with your kid, family and school staff to support lifelong learning.
